36E is one of the strongest beams around. Unfortunately, the only free channels there will be cctv if my memory serves me right. More grease to your elbow pal.

do you think the small sat finders will help considering my location. I have tried looking for them but in vain. are they available in Nairobi ?. il be on leave from next week and nothing much to do apart from the dish
I gave up on the Badr 4/5/6 constellation after about three days of trying. A re-look at the beams on both satbeams.com and satstar.net shows that the beam passes by those sides of Eldoret and Kerio Valley.
Nilesat ain't much of a headache for me, 180cm pf brings it in beautifully. Not very sure about the small satfinders, I use a SatLink WS-6918P acquired in 2012. I've often seen them mentioned on jamiiforums though haven't paid attention.
