DVBS2 = Satellite

DVB-T2 = Terrestrial.

I bought GoTvkenya the 2, 600 set top box to be paid in 1400 and a further 1200 all one-off.

so far am getting the kawaida FTA but only accessing Signet channels. NO Bamba Tv n NO Pang channels.

Looking back I wouldn't go for that deal since you really don't get access to the all FTA channels.

like someone said up there,i propose you buy a digital tv. mine gets all the adn, pang, bamba,signet quite a range. the samsung digital led 40inch about 47k.

the above FTAs have no cartoons and sports so my dstv access will do for the kids.

the old set you can sell or donate to relas in shagz

Or better (and cheaper) still, a stand-alone FTA STB.

@Chaka you swallowed the NTV/KTN/CITIZEN lie - hook, line and sinker!

PANG is a signal carrier, not a broadcaster, nor a decoder retailer. Same applies to SIGNET.

If you go to the CCK website, you will find the full list of 60+ decoder dealers who are selling type-approved gadgets in Kenya. BAMBA, GoTV, & STARTIMES are just 3 out of the 60+

personally, I've been using a Jolini which I bought somewhere in an "exhibition" along Moi Avenue.

It receives all Free-To-Air channels, including BAMBA! I like the fact that it has a High Definition output (HDMI) and that a recording function [PVR]. It also plays movies and music from flash discs.

Jolini FTA allows you access to SIGNET, PANG, ADN and BAMBA. It is full HD and has PVR functionality. There are a few people who bought bamba and are now buying Jolini. What could be the reason?
