Kenya's BOC Gases pretax falls 21 pct in 2009

NAIROBI (Reuters) - Kenya's industrial gas supplier BOC Gases posted a 21 percent fall in pretax profit to 232 million shillings on Friday and blamed costs and sluggish demand.

Surprised didn't know it's a subsidiary of a multinational. It seems almost all companies worth anything in the NSE are subsidiaries of foreign companies.

@muganda these results are exactly the same as the half year so this is in line with what i had expected... i hope no one was expecting any miracles and bought heavily into this counter..

its crazy P/E of 20+ just got even crazier.. i'm expecting a serious fall in share price come monday unless there is an exceptional dividend..
