LOL... you got a nice 10% discount from last week!!!

I am waiting for Safaricom to hit 5/- but no luck. Might jump into Mumias instead...

@ Sheep: For Safaricom, the current political climate may harm the share price in the short term, but will have minimal effect in their financials ending March 2010.

At this current political climate,am awaiting for the price to fall further affording me an opportunity to purchase more of the same. Remember i still have Cash in Hand worth about Ksh 230,000.

Mumias is also creating an interesting purchasing opportunity what with the stampede exit of the mainly local investors. If it goes below Ksh 8.50, then am in.

Happy hunting!

@the deal.. what reason do you have for bailing out of those counters with such minimal returns???
because when their announcements start coming through and the politics ends your initial targets will be smashed... dont you think you will regret???

@stocksmaster - Nice timing... especially if the market picks up coz of the perceived 'peace' between raila & kibaki

@VVS; Now you see why I had pleaded with you not to sell the whole lot. You would have saved yourself commissions....like I did...I still have a chunk left after selling at 5.20 in Nov and later at 6 in Jan...

What is your next exit price?

Me, 6.75...is that just a dream?

@mukiha you should hold on to them because that isnt just a dream... safcom stock has settled in its current range for now... but i think it will break above 6.5 after the announcement...

my target before i bail this year is around 7.7 and i got in at around 4bob..

@cnn, @mukiha @guru:

I had sold at 6.10 (- commissions) so getting in at 5.35 (+ commissions) is a-OK as long as it rises by at least 5% (5.65).

BTW, who did I bet with that Safaricom will not be 6/- by 23 Feb? I want my Java lunch... only 4 days left!

(Ironically... I went into safaricom at 5.35 even though my numbers tell me 5/-)

@VVS; The difference between you plan and mine is that I "ate" my profit a long time ago, while you will "eat" yours now...after buying back in.

Now we both wait to see where it goes next

@mukiha - Buying into safcom @ 5.35 was less logic then it was speculation... LOL... I might regret it... I was holding out for 5/- coz I think a good buy at 5/- (7% less than my buy-in price)
