I still don't see what people are complaining about here.

Did she or did she not flout a legal order?

Judge everyone with the same gogolos.

Do you own land???

If you are told to disinherit your kids (land was already subdivided to the kids) and give 40% of it to the kid of someone who was RENTING the land from you, what would you do?

How old are you?? Do you have kids?? And again I ask, do you have a piece of land?

People (including siblings) have been murdered because of land issues. This grandma did the right (and polite) thing by simply refusing to repossess land already subdivided to her kids to give it to a 'stranger'. If it was a different family, the punk trying to STEAL the land would be so f@*king dead by now!!! Dead and buried!!!

No I don't own land in Kenya and proudly don't. There are other things in life my friend.

That argument is without any basis whatsoever.

The issue is not who's right or who's wrong. The issue is following COURT ORDERS.

More people will continue dying in this country unless people learn to follow court orders however repressive.

You know those things that people in power refuse to honor then you come here complaining about impunity.

If you care about her so much, please please set up a legal fund for her.

I agree the judge had an option to not jail her but give her a commuted sentence. Doesn't negate the fact that someone somewhere refused to follow court orders.

The law is a double edged sword

Oh! alma, don't reduce this to an academic argument pls it hurts.

The law is the law and must be followed by all, irrespective whether you are 18yrs, 35, 50, 100 or 110yrs. We must never have people disobeying court orders because they are 'old'.

That is "cute". Just wish the law enforcers had the balls to send the big and mighty behind the bar just as they so fast send the grandma.

Good answer but again what order did she and sons disobey, refusing to share their land with a strange.

Was the law made for man or man for the law?
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.
