Merali sales airtel stake.

Naushad Merali has sold his remaining stake of 5% in Airtel making him over 700Million. Link Nation fm.
Another query, how did the Mwalimu deal and ECB go?

The ninja made more in minutes by brokering the Vivendi Kencel deal a couple of years ago. Naushad Merali as the 2nd largest shareholder (40%) had a pre-emptive right that gave him the first opportunity to buy Vivendi’s stake before it was offered to a 3rd party.

So Naushad Merali sold his 5% stake in Airtel for approx 770m which can be looked at as , if you think ,values Airtel at (770*20= 15,400) 15.5B ..!! So Airtel at 15.5 B even say 20 B and Safaricom is over 600B..something's not right..maybe he sold the 5% cheap..?? I wish would list at NSE like they have in Zambia.things will become very interesting..!!

I know zilch about valuations but with the Ghost of CGT ever present....well, lets just say Merali is NOT a stupid thief
