Pilot Training in Africa

Which is the best university in Africa in which to train as a pilot? #asking for a friend.
Suggestions like NAC are will not be taken seriously

I was not aware training to be a pilot required a degree d'oh!

Assuming your "friend" aspires to earn a cpl then any school certified by kcaa is where to begin. If its certified then your credentials are valid even abroad (after license conversion).

Another alternative is to go though the air force where you will learn to be a real pilot.

Back in my secondary school days some guy quipped 'Pilot ni kama chokoraa, hana degree'

That was when we were in form 1 in a school where more than 2 thirds of those who joined the school were hoping to become pilots

Back then everybody hoped to join Kq training plan or KAF in order to become a pilot. A few lucky guys made the cut for kq

But more guys are affording the 13 month training at 43 School in SA. I know 2 upper middo class kids who have gone there in the last 5 yrs

BTW being a pilot does not require you to be an A student.

You mean a pilot is just like a Mbuklnya driver only that he is airborne

Does that school still exist in Soroti? It was the best till Idi Amin came along.
