Omena is the fish to eat when big fish aren't swimming
The presence of Omena smell makes Wanjiku hungry and running for a kill at over 10 after buying at 8.50.
We still have time for KK. It may go up to April 10. Anyway the quiet Ohana is not predictable...better a talking wife you know when she is angry....there is no talking!

This is evidence that unlike KQ and Uchumi- sub 10.00 its not a monkey (lets hope Obiero doesnt read this).
Its holding pretty stable at 10.00, maybe looking for a direction pending results. A dividend of 0.30- 0.50 cents would be good to reward shareholders

But i think i will shout from a corner during the agm on the habit of the management to keep quiet as if the company died.

I am also thinking to say "Ohana Must Go". My case is full with pebbles that cannot be detected at entry point. What will stop me is only two things...a good dividend and a Bonus.Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Drool

EABL reaches for the bottom with Sh460 vodka

[BD] In EABL’s half year to December 2014, it is only the mainstream category which did not post a double-digit increase in sales recording a seven per cent growth.

The emerging spirits category – which has brands like Jebel Gold and Liberty – recorded a 28 per cent increase in sales while premium spirits like Johnnie Walker Red Label and Smirnoff Vodka grew by 32 per cent. smile http://www.businessdaily...2/-/e4k443/-/index.html

@ Monomotapa....Does oil mix with Vodka?
The only relationship is that of owner and the car. The Car is on Oil and owner on Vodka.
Alcholblow works on Owner. The Car still get another driver and keep moving. KK is still holding tight.

Now that I am sure oil prices will stay low for 18 months, I've sold my KK shares. KK has a low margin business and low price won't help. KK also doesn't have the balance sheet to expand into higher margin businesses. I was hoping Kenya could start drilling its oil in 2016/2017, but I now think we are a good 3/4 years away. This would have made KK a more attractive proposition for the Pumas of this world.
