Book Club peoples, hope you were all able to get the book. Mine cost about Kes 695/=.

Understood one reason why a book club works. Opened and read first 2-3 pages on Thu but my wheels were grinding. I knew I have to participate in review this Thu 18, so it kind of forced me to continue reading.

After first 2 chapters, turning pages has become easier.

I am currently on the first chapter of Jackie Collins "Lucky". Maybe not a very serious read, but a book nevertheless.

Book club honchos, our review is tomorrow. I'm sure we should be able to talk about the first 3/4 chapters. Am with you @kissedxx, reading is getting easier and the key has become finding time.

Isn't it surprising how when you get older you get so BUSSSYYY doing stuff? Now I understand why people say you shouldn't waste your youth.

But at a certain level, reading reminds me of yester years and makes me feel younger - some kind of exercise...

@Jacy26, @kissedxx, @Zakumi, @leona, @tony stark, @murren smile

Sasa hii ni nini? I feel like a Prime Minister who's started a fight against corruption and I've been left so alone.

How goes your book reading so far? Tomorrow should be about 2 weeks since the start.

LMAO! i like your Persistence. Honestly...i havent bought the book,thus havent read it. By the time you guys were expressing your bragging rights of ownership of the said book..i was in the bush,on a working mission,so singeweza kujipatia nakala ya kitabu hicho,so i figured i'd just as well wait for you guys to finish up and join in on the next one. So...what to do now? But am seriously keen on this book club thing..

I missed this thread. Just what the doctor ordered for me. I used to be a fair reader, now am unable to read the last 3 books I bought. One of them I never even opened.
