interest income 11%
interest expense 15%
other incomes 19%
staff costs grow 20%
cost income ratio 52%

balance sheet grew 24% deposits 26% (growing in favour of current accounts and term deposits 12%)

I believe them. Kenyan banks charge quite an interest rate

Just bought a huge bulk of equity stock at 52 at market open, I dont think we will be seeing that price ever again

Disappointing results from equity bank.
The profit before tax is at sh.21.3bn in 2014 compared to ksh.19.15bn.
That gap between it and KCB wacha tuu

As some wazuans are busy saying Dr. Mwangi has lost the plot, he is gambling with shareholders money, he is confusing hobbies with business....

Others are getting paid....

Were they given those shares free of charge. They made an investment (which was reflected as cash OUT at the time). Now they have reaped from the investment and you have a problem with it?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
