As long as KK gets a good deal on its rent. Or they should partner with a Developer and build their own office tower. As is they have some prime real estate (e.g. Ngong Road) and have been expanding their real estate empire.

My broker who I wont mention rarely calls me but today he called to recommend a buy for kk with a target up price of 15.20,I was not excited because the stock has frustrated me,so I chose to ignore and wait.i have some money but I wont buy more,I will have put so many eggs in one basket.

Ngong Road where? They sold the gas station on Ngong road near china center. No other significant property on that side of town. I see the other one at South C is closed. Only one station on Mombasa Road, hidden behind Oil Libya.

lAND IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE IN NAIROBI, WHAT YOU NEED IS A DEEP POCKET.THERE ARE SO MANY TOWERS THAT KK CAN BUY OR RENT IN THE CITY CENTRE, WESTLAND, UPPERHILL ETC.THEY MIGHT ALSO DECIDE TO MOVE TO UNIVERSITY WAY, MAENDELEO HOUSE, NEAREST AMB BANK HOUSE, LOITA HOUSE, NSSF HOUSE.
WHO WILL NOT WANT TO HOST ACOMPANY SUCH AS KK THAT CAN TAKE 1 OR 2 FLOORS?
BUT WE MUST RESPECT EXISTING AGREEMENT

he started by saying results are expected last week this month or 1st week april, then went ahead to say low prices have triggered high volume sales, that was not all he argued that the absence of the inefficient refinary in mombasa is a hidden advantage to oil companies who can import refined products through the otc and the delays which used to occur are no longer there..it was a long story to convince me and you.

Not much improvement in volumes. The big kick in declining prices is the gross margin expansion and cost of financing. The OMC gross margin is everything just like your super market. With the slow speed of ERC price reset, OMC's must have made a fortune between September and February this year. Some of it will be reflected in FY 2014 results I suspect, but an even bigger chunk is sitting in 1H2015. Whatever you probably see in FY 2014 you can extrapolate substantially for 2015.If only the board would see the logic of issuing a generous scrip in place of dividends because of the need to retain the cash in the business. Give shareholders a bonus so that they can go create their own dividend stream.

I thought it was still "On Sale" and not sold. I want to send a list of questions to KK before the AGM to be discussed at the AGM.

If KK expands slowly [while improving their current stations] it can capture the growing demand for fuel. I see more cars added to Kenya's roads daily. I saw 'KCC' cars in Athi River headed to Nairobi.

Do they need to declare a dividend whether cash or scrip? Why not use the cash to reduce their debt? BH doesn't issue bonuses, scrip dividends or dividends. So far.

I do not want to be greedy, I just want a good dvd of atleast 50cents. If all goes well we get a partner or we get a bonus of 1 for every 20 which would mean at current 10 Kes per share we get a wealth of 1Kshs.smile smile

Been able to support 10 and above means alot.
The best thing again with KK is that it can give FY results late but be the first to close books and pay dividends. It never go beyond two months period.

VWAP???

9.95/=

Wake me up when it is 10.30....

10.30 only?learn to sustain, you don't need to sleep with this target because it can be tomorrow smile who said kk can not rally 10%?

@mr.lenny at a VWAP of 10.3 it means a good qty has traded at a higher price thus even if it swings, bottom is around 10/- .this 10.3 has been the resistance. breaking it is neccesary. waking up means now following keenly and affording a smile. did i mention that is my target???
