passing exams does not guarantee you riches and neither do riches guarantee you happiness...the biggest fallacy that society has, is that if you are educated then you will do well economically. That is why you will see university professors on TV acting all entitled to big money/salaries/perks coz they are educated.

The only way education can make you rich is by you selling what you know (what you are educated in) to people who don't know and need to know. Unfortunately the world is not designed like that. It designed to get educated people employed and work 8-5 five days a week.

Educated people have a far greater chance of earning a decent living than uneducated ones.

For every single uneducated millionaire there are thousands of uneducated paupers!

@UpcomingPaperChaser; I enjoyed reading your post up to the point where you implied that success in life = being rich!

I don't know you or your classmate; but may be, you have a more cohesive family than him; or you are more at peace with God than he is; etc.

Assuming that success can only be measured by riches is the same as saying that intelligence can only be measured by KCPE/KCSE marks. It is a very narrow-minded view of life.


Boss, its the lack of money that's the root cause of evil!


How then do you explain wealthy people who continue to steal?

And how do you explain very poor people who refuse to steal despite their poverty?

Lack of money has nothing to do with it! Al that matters is how much one loves money and what he/she is willing to do to get it. What they already have does not feature in that equation!
