Looks like this is a political post. Who doesn't know the sworn haters of govt-backed stocks?

Significant influence is the word.
At Safcom, Vodafone has full say.
At KCB, only GoK has full say, but under Baba Jimmy, he avoided such bs. Not so under private developer (rotich is a proxxy).

Yes, EAPC is notorious. NBK also on the list.

Conspiracy theories.

why would any sober investor wish to form a partnership with politicians who have control over an organisation?

All shares are exposed. It just takes one policy change and you all go to the gutter.

Rattle the political class and watch your money go down the drain. If you say you'll avoid certain counters because of a "certain" person, you'll miss out big time. Just align your money with the policies that are laid out. Politicians interfere with markets everywhere a good example is the coal industry in the US.

People have been left by all the buses!! They are stuck at the bus stop with pockets full of fare but no buses in sight. They want to stir the waters to see if the buses will come back for them!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
