Rattle the political class and watch your money go down the drain. If you say you'll avoid certain counters because of a "certain" person, you'll miss out big time. Just align your money with the policies that are laid out. Politicians interfere with markets everywhere a good example is the coal industry in the US.

the first step to prudent investing is to know who owns a company.. Aim to know everyone who owns significant shares in each listed firm. Therein lies ua answer.. I speak in code

What is it with all these doomsday posts (Including the post on sytemic risk). These could be Mumias people extrapolating their woes on the whole market.

People have been left by all the buses!! They are stuck at the bus stop with pockets full of fare but no buses in sight. They want to stir the waters to see if the buses will come back for them!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
