Karibu Wazua @gitau. Read through posts on stocks. You will get some insights. No shortcut my brother/sister. Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

Research and consult widely. There are lots people n materials to help you here. When it comes to decisions on which stocks to buy, make that decision alone coz it's your money to lose or gain.

It all depends on the amount you have and the time you want to stay wth the stock. We have long term and short term. Others also buy to get dividends: If you have little money and want to invest long term, buy: 1)CIC insurance 2)Carbacid 3)KPLC 4)KQ 5)Kenya Re
Hold theses for at least 2yrs and thank me later!

Thanks for that question....I know not many would want to see it as such. I am using the mathematics of ratios KCB at 60 you earn a dividend of 2 kes while Sameer at 6.50 you earn a dividend of 50Cents Where do you make more money assuming your investment was worth 100000 Kes total? KCB....100000/60 = 1600* 2 =3200 Sameer..100000/6.50 =15300* 0.5 = 7650 Now you know why I would buy Sameer More so we expect sameer to give us a partner and there might be capital gain.

Sameer issued a profit warning last year.i don't foresee a divided of 50cts.The highest will be 30cts. “I don’t regret the things I’ve done, I regret the things I didn’t do when I had the chance.”

How dare you mention Sameer the same sentence with the Lion???? Show me someone who has made money from Sameer and I will show you mention1,000 who have made money from the Lion. Life is short. Live passionately.

if you want to make good money, invest in unquoted ventures ESPECIALLY the liquid ones. Talk to @eco History will not remember you for your IQ. It will remember you for what you did. “Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.” Thomas Edison

please also avoid something we call #PARALYSIS OF ANALYSIS........ whereby you are so critical of any investment idea until you never invest in anything. Sometimes use gut feeling. The two wazuans who have influenced my decisions and I would like to meet one day are @VVS and @eco I hear mugo kibati is joining panfric holdings, so it is a share to watch. You've just mentioned something I've been really looking for. We concentrate so much on listed stocks which usually trade at higher p/e multiples and with below five percent dividend yields compared to a number of private equities. Time we share info on these private equities. My interest is investing in a venture which has sustainable returns of 10% dividend yield and 10% capital appreciation. sectors of interest are energy sector, education, companies providing low cost housing, healthcare and fmcg. “Invest in yourself. Your career is the engine of your wealth.”

Hhehheeh When you see a LION feed on a gazelle, remember that still gazelles are more in number and still multiplying variously and cutting the grass short such that the lion has no place to hide.

One of the most important things to consider is entry price. So be very careful of the advice you get here, without entry price. Market is at an all time high, I'd advice you to wait for discounts

How does one do that???? "All intelligent investing is value investing -- acquiring more than you are paying for. You must value the business in order to value the stock." - Charlie Munger.
