This is the hardest and most painful time for me as I mourn my wife and best friend, Janet Ciru Akolo (photo below). I am sorry I may not be able to reply to most mails during this period.

I appreciate all the times we shared with Janet. She was the true definition of a loving wife. She loved me unconditionally and was always there for me through the good and bad times.
I will do a proper blog post about this but just wanted to inform you, my kind subscriber of this untimely demise.

So far the proceedings will be as follows:
1. We are still meeting daily at my place.
2. There will be a fundraising on Tue, 3rd March at All Saints Cathedral starting from 6pm.
3. A memorial service will be held on Wed, 4th March at Nairobi Christian Church, Umoja (next to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital) at 6pm
4. Funeral service will be held on Thu 5th Mar at All Saints Cathedral starting at 11am followed by burial at Lang'ata Cemetry.
