IDF=Import declaration form
The 5k is IDF fee...but on the other hand,when you arrive at say JKIA with a 'fat' suitcase and the customs guys insist that you open it,why are you not then required to fill an IDF form and pay the 5k for it?

What other charges did you incur to ship in the laptop?I'm thinking of doing the same....at least now I know there is IDF!
