safcon having no competition is largely due to Kenyans peculiar habits, Orange has had better data options for some time now - better than even this airtel thing

Orange has better data options since when? I struggle to get 3G in some parts of the city and in the counties its only ever a last option.

We need to accept Suffericom is dominant because the other industry players are plain incompetent.

I have been on orange unlimited for the past 2yrs and i am a happy customer. It is the cheapest and has good speeds. Just done a speed test.

I have been on orange for some time now, you honestly can not compare the pricing and the options available on orange with what safcon has. unless ... those are the peculiar habits I am talking about smile

Please understand that Orange has two network technologies: HSPA, which is what most Kenyans generally mean when they say '3G' and CDMA/EVDO which Orange markets as 3G-Plus. The latter has a wider footprint countrywide and offers decent speeds at reasonable prices. Been on it consistently for well over a year now. The former however is only available in a few locations countrywide.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.
