That was not her original piece or idea, she was simply regurgitating what was scripted down by the technocrats and thinkers at Radio Africa.

Compared to analogue TV, how easy is it for advertisers to ascertain the number of viewers at a particular time?NTV, KTN and Citizen have each their numbers are they established by third parties?

Most stations will be focusing on a target market. As an example, lets say Kiss TV decides to focus on the youth whose interests are mainly Music, Movies, fashion and everything entertainment, Syngenta will definitely not need to put its money here. Every other company that sells "lifestyle" will pour their money on Kiss. As for news, we're going to an era where we watch the news when we want, in time those decoders will upgrade and viewers shall be able to record news and other programs and view them later. The era of commercials dominance or monopoly is coming to an end, Infomercials will now become the in thing where a company like Safcom buys a 30min time slot to promote their stuff instead of holding road shows, these shows will be interactive and buying/selling will happen live. Interesting time ahead.

As for the management of the 3 dinosaurs, someone needs to buy them the book: WHO MOVED MY CHEESE

Jolini has PVR functionality and can record news etc as you watch another channel. You can play back later and watch what you would have missed.

Thats good...the latest technology i've seen is where you can choose to start a program from the beginning lets say if you were caught up in traffic and you get to your set 5 mins into the news....you can finya your remote and restart.

The three media stations are taking us for a ride. Technically no one broadcasts in Digital yet. Broadcasts are on analogue, then sent to the digital signal licencees to be converted into digital signal. The Signet convertion equipment is located at KBC HQ next to the main TV studio.

What was the big deal in allowing Startimes and GoTV to convert their signal before they bring their own equipment???
Life is short. Live passionately.

Is the fella sure about this? My experience with DSTV is that they disconnect even the FTA channels (except KBC)if you fail to pay for your monthly subscription.

Most likely to go back to court asking to be allowed to continue broadcasting on analogue until they bring their set boxes. Now can a lower court issue a new ruling different fron the ones issued by the supreme court regarding the same matter
