Manzee this is something I feel strongly about.

I had to sit a young relative down for a talk when I heard him boasting about the facebook page that warns drivers about Alcoblow locations.

Driving after drinking sounds funny until you hear stories of the accidents caused by drunk drivers.

Kenya's roads are already bad enough. We don't need a facebook page encouraging drunk driving.

Let's all be careful on our roads, drunk or not. Just yesterday, I witnessed an accident just after Timboroa. Here is the thing. Two young men whizz past me on the wrong side as I am heading to Hill Tea. I thought that was most stupid. I was doing a hundred but if the Wish was doing less, probably not below 140. I am concerned because I consider such unsafe for Jap cars without much safety features. As I come out of Timboroa town, I see the Jap jalopy attempting to overtake a transit truck. Unknown, there is another truck in front and a second hurtling down the same road but on the opposite side. All of a sudden, with my eyes in that direction, i ask my wife,"have you ever seen an accident?"...Like in a movie, the horror unfolded infront our eyes helplessly. I may not know the fate of the two, although they were in bad shape when they were eventually pulled but the thing is,they were in a hurry to somewhere but they ended up elsewhere. They also inconvenienced the trucker but heck, when I looked at the truck, it had no meaningful damage. If you have to get there, start early. If you are late , excuse yourself.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

What i hate most is seeing the whatzapp messages warning people where the NTSA guys are.Knowing very well that you will drink and pass thru another route to avoid them (NTSA) but the thing is you are drunk.I would support such a message if it was a warning to avoid money hungry cops.

Maybe the NTSA should focus on their core mandate instead of theatrics of speedguns and alcoblow.

sad, but something funny is that most of the guys who do that are not in a hurry to get somewhere, its just that for most guys a car in front means it has to be overtaken, just an ego thing, and the stupid thing is that once you overtake nobody remembers you or your super car.

There's nothing cool with driving when intoxicated, that said, NTSA needs to stop stationing themselves on a single place, but drive along notorious highways. Gri zilikuwa za nini?
