My assessment is that this share is worth 4.80/= after recent corporate actions, i.e. three bonus shares for every two held which diluted its value considerably. If you recall, it was 12/= pre-bonus. Its market is not very exciting and growth is sluggish. Top shareholders e.g. Centum, Ongeri have been exiting

Its worth noting that its regional sales grew by 36% last year to Sh457.9m. However its Kenyan sales will take a beating following the introduction of VAT on books.

What surprised me is their generosity to pay us a dividend which seems more than their earnings per share.mr. market ignores theory at times

I thought the sh 10 is the post bonus price. It started trading at sh 10 from sh 25 on the day the bonus was effective. I think it is a good company when you consider its statements; no long term borrowings, growing revenues, consistence profits, good expansion and good dividends.

Mr. Market...or just maybe...shareholders? Centum needs cash flow...dividend is income and it cashed out of its some of its pre-bonus shares at all time high prices (just before bonus shares were issued in December having already qualified for the bonus shares by October)...waiting to see their 9- month performance come April...

So far, so good...
