I highly doubt it works. Gas needs to be under high pressure and a tyre tube cannot produce the pressure required for cooking; a reason why many large scale biogas production plants channel it to gas pipelines as opposed to bottling it for domestic use.
yes the tube does work, not 100% efficient but it works, the biogas installations I have seen locally do not operate under high pressure - surely not the same as the ones packed in cylinders.
but the production of the gas is very cheap, it would not be worth the extra cost of getting every ounce to use.
