@Boris Boyka;
Am here and seeing the counter has rallied today.
This is due to expected good results to come in later in the month or early march and good acquisition of new business.
By the end of the year the counter will have narrowed the gap and possibly overtaken Britam to take the second position behind Jubilee in terms of gross written premiums.

@shrewdinvestor, im not in this one, i thought the last year rally climaxed at 12.40 which still remains a strong barrier, but if you closely check the number of deals per day (today alone is 239) it shows this share is a favourite of small investors and its likely to become emotional(causing a hard rally) towards results announcement, lack of special announcement like bonus or acquisition will also result to a sharp reversal.

We had a bonus last year. Acquisition may be cic acquiring another business. However, i don't think its only bonuses & acquisitions that maintain a share. Good resulsts and profitable future business projects and/undertakings could do. Cic should be with it's peers 17-30/- range given its 3rd in terms of gross written premiums.

@Boris Boyka its true good results also sustains the share but cic is already above its peers in valuation ( on pe basis ) only britam is above cic. with only good results and at a pe of 14 the price will stagnate below 12,(check the historical average pe of insurance sector) but definitely the market forces will place the price tag in due time
