@nesta, Whatever happened with this noble idea? My brain is going to waste... smile

Please give us an update or we just hijack your idea and start.

@leona, would you like to belong to a book club? Faceless, no fees, we agree on a book pick, we read first 3-4 chapters, we review right here...

More hustle free - me by Friday I'd like to start suggesting some books. @Mukaju, @Zakumi, @Memmy would make us 5. And when we start, who knows...

@Muganda
Sure would! I love reading..only that sometimes i get overwhelmed by events and dont get to finish what am reading,but probably a book club would help? We can start a google group for discussions once we're set(maybe after starting here to seeif the idea picks up...)

Muganda suggest a book the rest can join if and when they want.
I suggest Wizard of the crow! Its a big book but very interesting. Its in 3 or 4 books in the same volume.
I chose the book because of its reviews and for entertainment. I am not looking for a self help book or leadership book!

Good Stuff, I suggest we pick one from the following books. My suggestions are also by African Writers and they are not large books. All themed on actual events so we can learn alot.

Assuming we vote and agree, we can pick up the books and begin reading next week.

Book Picks:
1. Monk who sold his Ferrari - Robin Sharma
2. Wizard of the Crow - Ngugi wa Thiongo

3. Half of a Yellow Sun - Chimamanda Adichie
A masterly, haunting new novel from a writer heralded by The Washington Post Book World as "the 21st-century daughter of Chinua Achebe," Half of a Yellow Sun recreates a seminal moment in modern African history: Biafra's impassioned struggle to establish an independent republic in Nigeria, and the chilling violence that followed.

4. Left to Tell - Immaculee IlliBagiza
Immaculée shares her miraculous story of how she survived during the Rwanda genocide in 1994 when she and seven other women huddled silently together in the cramped bathroom of a local pastor’s house for 91 days!
