Substantiate.

This is the time they will set for the opening of the TOWER and many other projects and they may wish to offer bonuses for retention purposes.
They have also been performing perfectly well.

Nairobi is Towering. Britam Tower still going up.
Soon after Upper Hill, Nairobi west and Westlands are Fully towered the rush will come back to City Centre River Raod and Kirinyaga road area for towering. The houses here are the old with shops and India living quarters.
By Valentine the FY2014 results may be sweet tidings to us.

There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

Britam is a stock that will create Rush this Feb, I suspect a dvd of 40cts and a bonus of 1:10 or lower of 1:20.
Britam, Centum , Coop are growing fast as Equity.

Whereas most have tried to answer the ' why?', I was looking for more factual reasons than those proferred above.

Buy Britam, Housing Finance long-term

Housing Finance (HF):

Following the announcement by HF that it would seek Sh3.5 billion in a rights issue two weeks ago, the mortgage lender’s share surged by 7.7 per cent within five days to reach Sh48.75 per share and an intra-day trading high of Sh49.
The rally was attributed to increased demand from local investors. The price surge was irrespective of the share dilution that often characterises counters offering a rights issue.

BRITAM:
Since September, last year, when Britam rallied to an all-time high of Sh40 per share, the stock has struggled to go above Sh30 per share.
This has largely been due to negative reports that the company’s four former managers may have illegally transferred Sh4 billion from Britam’s accounts. Currently, though, Britam is seeking to recover the money in an on-going court case.
Nevertheless, this has not deemed the stock’s prospects, with Britam’s business presence continuing to expand.
Says Chambua Ogoti, an investment analyst: “the insurer has invested a lot of money into tower block offices in Upper Hill, and lined up similar real estate projects despite the ongoing battle against Cytonn.”

Sh4bn fraud case back in court- Britam -Cytton

Talks between an investment firm and its ex-managers in a Sh4 billion dispute have collapsed with the parties expected back in court next week for a full hearing.
The two — British-American Investments Company (Britam) and its former managers Edwin Dayan Dande, Elizabeth Nailantei Nkukuu, Patricia Njeri Wanjama and Shiv Arora — had sought arbitration to resolve one of the biggest corporate fraud case to hit Kenya.
Last year, Britam moved to court accusing the four of illegally transferring Sh3.94 billion to Acorn Group Ltd and its affiliate firms.
The High Court agreed to the request by the two last December, but the talks are said to have collapsed. “There has been no agreement... We now want to pursue the matter through the court process

This is it!!!!

Britam has contracted Equity and Family banks to sell its pension scheme to small and medium firms in the first such deal in the financial sector. The financial services company will run the business under Britam Asset Managers (BAM), which is allowed to invest in riskier businesses unlike the guaranteed pension scheme now running under its insurance business.
“With this we are targeting employees with young employers who would not just want a guaranteed arrangement whose return is overall lower than the segregated arrangement,” said business development manager at BAM John Atyang.
Britam Asset Managers said the new scheme will leverage on a wide distribution network provided by Britam offices, Family’s 80 branches and Equity’s 160 branches to cut operational costs associated with running similar schemes.
