It is barely a fortnight ago when JCC Pastor Kathy Kiuna attacked Eastland’s residents, calling them lazy and poor and further advising ladies from the area to rent servant quarters in Runda so as to find rich men and marry them. As if that wasn’t enough, she has just released another bitter med, warning poor people against attending her church on Sunday during her sermon. “This is not a place for poor people. If you can’t tithe, find another church, we don’t entertain poverty. There are many churches in Nairobi which accommodate poor people but JCC is not one of them.” Kathy preached to her congregation who applauded her shouting “Preach it Mum”. Whats your take on this?

And they gave out tithe? This woman deserves to be eaten by a trained dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Asi!

Poor Joseph, Mary and Jesus.

If they had been Nairobians, they'd be residents of K-South or Zimmer or suchlike.

Never would they gain acceptance in such a 'posh' church.

Yet we know they were poor. This is how we know Joseph was not some rich or middo krass carpenter

Leviticus 12 lays down the process of purification after birth
Quote:
“‘When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are over, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.[a] 7 He shall offer them before the Lord to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood.

“‘These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl. 8 But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”

In Luke chapter 2, after the birth of Jesus:
Quote:
When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”[b]), 24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”

We discussed these cons here and their cult like tendencies. Most Kenyans know about their con jobs and there are some fellows who still fall for mama na baba nonsense and their vomiting on their shoes antics??? As some people repeatedly say here, unless they have been bewitched, some people need to nyolewad because their stupidity is just legendary. I keep insisting that the government should protect Kenyans from these con men and women but the people who attend JCC are 'educated' middle class fellows. They should know better!!!
