Away from Langata Primary...Now, i am sitting in a car wash where I brought my probox for cleaning. I was in the village where I collected all manner of foodstuffs to facilitate completing of the month of January. At the end of the money in December, January seems like a whole year. Such foodstuffs included pumpkins, cassava ( I have told you before that cassava is good if you don't want Oburu to completely toboa during your funeral) mangoes, sweet potatoes na kadhalika. There is this guy whose cleaning has just been completed. It is a BMW with a legends number 55-.( I have never known what cult this one is!!) The guy gets inside his car parks it a few meters away, removes a piece of clothe and 5 other tins of stuff for 'pimping his ride' and starts working on it again.

One of the tins is labelled Arimis-the cow milking jelly. I don't know what he is going to use it for. For 30 minutes I observe him cleaning his car with the precision of a watch repairer. And I start asking key and fundamental questions, "Is this guy going to have sex with his car?" And just when I am asking that question the actions of that character in Ngugi wa Thiongo's Caitani Mutharabaini (Devil on the Cross) come to mind. The fellow belonged to the bourgeoisie class. he had just acquired a brand new Mercedes. He is driving along a smooth road and the changing of gears is just perfect...The gears are just slithering in, like a dick into a pussy. As he engages the final gear, he gets multiple orgasms... Those are the words of the writer, not me.

Men and their cars...

And ooops, who scratched my car yesterday?
