I honestly don't know why Kenya produces sugar. Can't see any comparative advantage. Shouldn't we just import from Uganda,Sudan and Malawi ? The land can be use to grow our stable food thus enhance food security. Having said that I will not buy this monkey at any price. Only Egypt and Sudan have the huge capacity to supply Ke demand.

As for me i don’t understand why people are worried about that our sugar is expensive. Most likely even our water is expensive and we have not decided to import.
The point is let’s find value in our sugar that will make others want it, whether price, brand, content etc.

Well said Right now ,the value is not there. High production cost, low sucrose content and high price. Who wants poor product at high price? Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

When is last time you saw anything Made in America. The cost of production in America companies was more than double comparing to products made in China, Mexico. Thailand, malaysia...plus other developing countries. Mumias Sugar company to me is dead cow, what we need is to skin this monster and save the skin if it cannot compete with other regional companies. Kenyan needs cheap sugar and Uganda is ready to supply.

Hopefully they shall skin it and give me the hide to place on my table as I have a cold one and think of my next line of action. “You can get in way more trouble with a good idea than a bad idea, because you forget that the good idea has limits.” - Ben Graham

for a guaranteed exit supply any demand you see. if you don't see any demand quote 10% limit downwards. how to ride volatility 101. @maichblack. ur ppl need u. or ur too busy exiting to post- understandable. I have a principle never to join rallies late. you see Mr maich can sell comfortably even on another 10% down coz he started from bottom. for unsuspecting speculators this is when T+3 definition comes to life The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Why are we talking like this price fall has anything to do with fundamentals? This is a speculators counter. Next when it decides to rally we'll get someone who comes and gives us a list of potential 'deals' that are behind this company's rally. This fall has got nothing to do with cheap or expensive sugar. Someone took a position, pumped the cat and now has made enough chumz to walk to RMA Motors and get themselves a shinny one!! There are too many opportunities all around. Open your eyes and maybe you'll spot one

Then those cops must have surely and truly spoilt the party with that teargas. People need to know that teargas ikitoka store huwa hairudi! Could MB be the Private Developer in this case? IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN
