I am made to understand their terms and conditions are not favourable to the customers. Can someone who has the Bamaba TV box confirm to us or post the terms here.

Which terms did you come across that were unfavourable? You just need to purchase their Bamba box & its "free for life" thereafter.

Given bamba tv is a new business line for radio africa its expected that it will contribute to profits of the company. Will they solely rely on revenue from selling decoders only to finance its operations . d'oh! d'oh!

Some form of profit sharing with stations that seek to be included in their bouquet should suffice. Anyone know how freeview in the UK/NZ/Australia makes money?

Freeview UK

What i know is that the BBC (both tv and radio) is entirely funded by the govt via the annual TV licence the British pay, and that's why they aren't allowed to air any commercials.

I think there is a problem mine doesn't work as well and i can't get a contact for customer service. I also saw a registration agreement inside the box that one is supposed to send to an email that doesn't work which i thought was the reason it was not working.

Which profits at the moment bamba is making money from selling decoders only. unless they split that with akina aljazeera.
What is most likely to happen the number of channels will reduce with time only the common free to air channels will be available

Compe roho safi:

Advanced set top boxes on the way

Quote:
The enhanced set top boxes will be provided by Nation Media Group (NMG), Standard Group (SG) and Royal Media Services (RMS) in the first phase of a plan that will see them import a million more devices by the end of March, 2015.

Speaking during a media workshop at Nairobi Serena Hotel, Mr Wilfred Kiboro, the NMG chairman, said the gadgets will be sold at a one-off price that will not exceed Sh2,500 so that a majority of Kenyans can buy them.
