my take on the issue is that is simple, the teachers would be assessed on the kids progress via continuous assessment tests, sports and other extra curricular activities - there will be set benchmarks that a class has to attain.
lakini tell a kenyan teacher that they will need to work, and sossion will come blazing - all they want is to drill kids for a single exam at the end of 8 or 4 years.
