I was at shagz (Nakuru county) over the weekend and my mum gave me some 4 debes of maize. I want to siaga it in batches of 1/2 debe so that flour doesn't go bad. That will last me for 1yr. Where can i get some posho mill hapa Nairobi (langata rd) to siaga the maize? Is it true that there is one next to Tmall? I don't want to go kibera or kawangware.

Yes behind TMall kuna moja!!! Or go to Kibera using the route that passes in front of Riara University, a posh mill is 500m away from Riara University gate, you will still be on the tarmacked road.

Thanks. Will check them out.

Watch out for hecklers around this area

While on the way to the posho mill get some firewood, big stones and one of those jua kali sufurias. If you cook ugali ya unga wa kusiaga on gas, you'll eat it raw (very bitter!). It needs moto mkubwa like that one of shaitani. Those sufurias from Naivas will have holes after 3 cookings due to the heat. Also nunua tu-vests and Bermuda shorts because you'll be korogaing that ugali for 3 hours straight in extreme heat. The sweat that drops into the pot adds to the flavour. Enjoy smile
