Right here in Kenya...

Many a times are those when my girlfriend:

1. would ask me to carry a 50kg bag of maize to a posho mill 3km away and i would do that with no complaints while my mum would ask me to carry only 15kg from the family farm 50m away and it was not possible!!

2. would request me to go and help her mother cook mandazi the whole day in their food joint while when my mum asked me to cook some ugali for the family for just 20minutes i would complain that actually i needed to go to my friend and collect my books 15km away for holiday homework....

3. in college i would spend 2k to travel to Turbo to see her and enjoy the moment while i would not afford kshs 30 for a kilogramme of sugar for my mum...

4. please finish the list.....
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...
