Buying land in Kitengela and Nairobi outskirts

I am seriously looking to invest 2.5m in land within nairobi or outskirts thereof. i toured kitengela-2kms from CBD, 2.5acres going for 4.5m!! a commercial plot by CBD 1/8 ACRE was 3m.I
I must confess that my homework is incomplete coz i'm not sure where to start.
I am open to any suggestions skerians may have on potential areas within nairobi/outskirts to purchase,who to contact and how to buy property for what its really worth. Con brokers are on the loose especially in kitengela area!!

Hi
Have some about 8 going for 430k with titles at New Valley.Actually they were 32 pcs but are only these few remaining. Exactly 2km from the main Namanga rd.

@ Kula raha minimum 50x100 others are slightly bigger.Infact neighbouring plots are going for 470k.

A pal of mine is also selling a prime plot in kiambu-mugumo area near Marion schools(its on kiambu-ruiru bypass just after kirigiti ground if you're familiar with the area).

@sngotho the adverts t wasafa site are not very convincing.they need a serious site if they are to sell properties how do they start charging 1000/= viewing fee thats not for professionals.

Someone gave me an interesting list of land available in Kitengela. There are residential plots ranging from 1/8s to 1 acre prices from 550k - 4.8m depending on their locations, Commercials from 1/8s to 100acres ranging from 900k - 15m depending on size and location and Land on Sale 2acres - 1000acres ranging from 100k@acre to 7m@acre depending on location.
