I went to ocha juzi and got shocked by the nature of this guy's gospel.

He has some followers(almost entirely women) in that village which is in some very rural place with the nearest town being 20kms away.

I eavesdropped on a conversation between my aunt and one 'convert' and gathered a few sad facts:

1. Owuor has made his followers believe that all other religious leaders are fake. They are servants of the devil masquerading as servants of God! I heard her claim that all pastors are condemned because they didn't heed to the prophet of God's call for their repentance.

2. Owuor is the last prophet that God is sending to the World. This was most shocking to me. You mean Owuor has become like that other false prophet, Muhammad?

3.Owuor's infallibility. Nabii can do no wrong and whatever he asks of them they must do as it is from God

I'm schocked that they scrubbed the streets of Nakuru like they did in eldoret some time back! This is a dangerous cult!!

My late kid bro changed when he joined Owuor's church. We tried to talk to him, persuade him to leave the church and suddenly we became his enemies! My bro got sick in October 2013, refused to go to hospital but would attend Owuor's crusades/meetings all over the country. He would vanish days and days only to return home looking rugged and un kept. Come xmass eve 2013, the boy got so ill my parents had to rush him to a private hospital where he got admitted. Diagnosis was malaria and pneumonia. On the 28 dec 2013, my late bro turned 'wild' coz he wanted to leave the hospital but the doctor would not let him.....he was too sick to go anywhere! He caused all these chaos coz he wanted to attend Owuor's crusade in Kakamega new yrs eve. Sadly, my baby bro passed away in the early hours of New year...1/1/2014! He was only 23yrs! A supposedly 'happy new yr' turned to a sad new yr for my family. A yr later and we are still mourning...I don't know if we'll ever get over what Owuor's church did and how he destroyed Fred's life!

1. How does he get police escort? He pays for them or he has high connections?

2. When someone who have been deaf since birth gets healed, how are they able to communicate in whichever language immediately? How did they learn the languages?

And someone who's been blind since birth able to differentiate colour?

Now this is a philosophy 101 question. @Tycho/Muriel/Symbols toklezeeni mjibu swali.
Its all good.

At the risk of sounding insensitive....
Taking a person to the hospital is primarily an act of faith as well.
Sick people die in hospital too..
Both Owuor and docto rs depend on you for healing.

That is why they cannot raise the dead.. or really heal anyone.

It isn't philosophy, its just that instant cognition is not possible (or has not been observed). For instance, can you speak a language you have never learnt or been exposed to, like Icelandic, right this very second?

Bsolutely!

The deaf person now speaking is as real as the 'tounges' they speak - faxe. Or is it fake? Miracles are not the instructions given to be followed to know if Owuor is faxe or not.

To me he is as fake as it gets and you dont them get more faxe than Owuor.

Illusion. Hardly philosophical. Lies.

The prophet Owuor wave is a mind boggling phenomenon. It seems to defy tribe, race and class. It grows bigger and stronger by the day. It enjoys the patronage of power and state security, both here and abroad......there is something very strange!!!!
