I have also never understood why some of the trucks/lorries/canters drivers always insist on driving on the inner lanes on the superhighway. I have had several near misses. Kwanza Thika Road is the worst. You climb those tu hills above under passes then while descending on the other side, pap! stalled truck. No life saver, no hazard lights, Not even reflectors on the damn truck. Nothing! Just a ki-dark thing!!! Reflex action, swerve. If there was a vehicle on the other lane, wewe Kwisha! If you don't react fast enough, wewe chini ya Lorry!!! And all the times I have been 110% sober. I can only imagine what would happen to someone on kidogo Faxe!!!! I stick to the middle lane but the other day I found another one stuck on the middle lane!!! Same story. Nothing to indicate there is a stalled lorry! Na hiyo ni baada ya kuchapwa full lights na wajinga wengine!!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Yes, Gathecha was a speed junkie. Yes, Gathecha used to partake Jamesons and self drive [like most wazuans (and Kenyans). Only that wazuans do Faxe 10%]. But truth be told, the reason he is dead is because there was a stalled truck on the road. One more thing, I will have you know that I also use speed as a security mechanism at night. You don't overtake me at night past certain hours. I have done speeds I cannot type here due to the new laws that I haven't read yet! And if you insist on overtaking me, you only do so at the point I decide you can - somewhere not isolated with many options for me if you decided to block me etc. And from that point henceforth you better disappear. You don't do 180 kph while behind me and after you overtake me you are suddenly in the mood for 60 Kph. I reduce to 40 kph and we can continue reducing till we eventually start reversing. But my default is high speed. I overtake you and am gone. you can't chase me without blowing your cover. Thugs like surprises. They can't engage in a chase while there are other people doing lower speeds unless you are a specific target. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

rip gatheca.to the living ,always remember speed thrill but it also kills . 50-80kph substantially reduces the risk.drive safely arive alive. punda amecheka

You will be a statistic in the "Our thugs are getting bolder" thread. 50 - 80 kph substantially reduces the risk of dying through an accident and substantially increases the chances of being murdered by teenage thugs high on an assortment of drugs. When I am driving at night I am more concerned by teenage thugs on jet fuel and synthetic drugs than road accidents. I am still a careful driver but I definitely do high speeds. middle lane, kuwa mwangalifu, speed kibao!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
