Seems like he swung left to avoid the stationary truck but unfortunately got his right side ripped off.

Yep. Not an easy one to survive at high speed because the back of the truck's first point of impact is the windscreen. RIP
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

And how do the police and their families live with all these accident vehicles literally at their door steps? Must be traumatizing.

And that's without psychosocial support. That's why some of them wake up one day and start shooting everybody and everything in sight.
Lord, thank you!

And the owner and driver of the stalled truck? In the west they would be facing a long stint in prison for manslaughter. There are too many fatalities by cars ramming into stalled trucks in Kenya. The Langata road one is still fresh on my mind, drove past it and the bodies were still in the wreck, badly mutilated.
When its not fatalities, they cause ugly and expensive gridlocks when they stall on strategic roads like Mbagathi way or the causeway to Mombasa island!
Time to do something very drastic so that owners of stalled trucks move heaven on earth to chuck them from the road before jail or tens of thousands of fines come calling!

and most do not even bother to place the hazard signs, and considering most of them are as dark as the black hole, hata full lights do not help - you realize when its too late.
I have also never understood why some of the trucks/lorries/canters drivers always insist on driving on the inner lanes on the superhighway.
