yaani how you've been advocating KQ its only 8% ya portfolio?ama ulipunguza?

Added more KEGN recently hence affecting percentage of KQ

Not convincing yet even if you bought the whole KNGN recently,KQ was 10% smile Anyway SELL Part of KCB now and catch some other stock....toa capital ndani..Applause

I dont always calculate the percentage of my holdings, coz I buy very frequently.. The 10% you refer to was an estimate!

Crazy daily market turnover in the top 3 counters in the middle of December (Dec 16th)?!? Abnormal trading desk activity as vacation mood kicks in while the 3 counters clock 2.6B in total!?

I have never seen NSE this busy in December.

KCB - KES 1,346,837,248
EQTY - KES 670,129,024
SCOM - KES 639,233,408

EABL, KCB, EQTY, SCOM and BAT have all traded jumbo turnover this year. Will 2015 be this busy for NSE with CGT in place?

2015 will be an interesting year for I expect global equities to continue melting up since central banks are still buying equities courtesy of CME group incentives. Will NSE benefit with CGT in place? Hard call to make, but by Q1 2015 the tape will tell what direction the market will take.

Quite a bit of action related to the CGT. 5% if you are holding a Ksh1bn worth of shares is not lose change

Its more interesting when the buy side and sell side are balancing without pludging/pulling the prices to serious lows,if the CGT was a threat I would expect the buy side to be depressed.

TPSE 34
SCOM 13
BAMBURI 140

CENTUM has also begun its inevitable slide.(Despite the relentless media sideshows)

KCB touches 52 and no interest on the buy side! I wonder how low Equity will touch now that KCB/Equity competitions points south !!!

Even CFC isnt spared.

And volume spikes continues..The usual suspects and now including Panafrica

Finally looks like i can awake from my slumber. I like buying more than selling, so this is welcome.

Hisah's prophecy coming true.

FTGH. Its been interesting watching PPT supporting this one, 8.00 will eventually cave in.

NSE. PPT has done a very good job of keeping it above 20. But today i see it caved in to 18.50. Im feeling so clever now for ignoring it at 15-18 during listing. At 9-10.00 im a buyer here
