Turkana town, wherever it is should really boom and deserves that position 1.

Oil is major and depending on where the processing is eventually done, should create a major growth epicenter. I was however under the impresion that we plan to export crude.

Lamu will also grow same for Eldy and Kisumu, Macha and Thika sahau, not as fast as predicted here.

Some guys here are under-estimating Turkana, economic boom means "time of rapid growth in wealth". For what Turkana is now and what will look like in the next 15 years or so, it is bound to completely transform (unless ofcourse the County is mismanaged).
Lets not forget that water was discovered in Turkana recently enough to supply Kenya for the next 70 years. 250billion cubic meters of water to be specific.

Precarious. If oil breaches US $ 60, it becomes unviable. It seems to be headed there.

Yaani you blogging guy is still insist that TURKANA TOWN will boom.

What we are asking, show us on the world map where it is located (please, don't confuse it with TEXARKANA TOWN in the US).

After we know where it is located we will then be able to tell what reasources are available there, hence, play your boom/blast prediction game.

The link is now active.
Clarification when we say Turkana it actually means Lodwar Country as a whole, Narok means Kajiado county as a whole.

It is already happening:

However, the Kisumu County Assembly is about to change the perception of cemeteries as eerie places by refurbishing two of the town’s cemeteries and making them tourist attractions.
