Karibu to the World of SUFFERINGCON aka SUFFCON.
I thought I had seen it all but Safcom sucks and if they continue with the trend they will join the Club of Zain and Orange aka Telkom.....

From now on all downloads will be done at the Office.
Then morning I carry my big portable.

This is a load of garbage. It shows WCDMA when connected but downloads at 5-8KB/s. Now zain has a competitor for slow speeds, only difference is that zain is using edge (2.75G) while safariCON pretends to be on 3G. Its even better to use zain now

Did you for a moment imagine that you can have 1 million people each trying to download movies and still get the same quality of service? I hope you now appreciate that cheap is not necessarily better,I'd rather pay a little more and get quality service than pay peanuts for rubbish. Can't wait for 5th when this unlimited nonsense expires...

this company will lead to self destruction data wise if they dont come with a better speed for their customers. i think the orange option is somehow viable now that even safcom has joined the slow coach bandwagon. ama ???

If there is a con game going on,its the new SafariCon's 200.00 for 24hrs unlimited Internet. Even by market standards, its more expensive than the competitors making it the worst option.

KDN will charge you about 3k for its WiFi which has terrific speeds. Orange's Livebox which is true ADSL will charge you 2999.00 per month for 256kbps.

This offer by safcon has been down from 3.30pm up untill about 5pm today. When i called their so called customer [un]support, they said they had a problem within the whole network. I enquired if at all they would extend their 24hrs for the period that they will be off-net. The answer was NO!

I don't know what they are trying here, but they have a serious problem with this offer. For them to go anywhere, they need to solve this asap since officially,i am switching to Orange livebox by the end of this week for my office work.

Now that unlimited internet is back - at ksh 999 for 7 days - probably the speeds will go down again. All the same will try and see if I can download some stuff this time round...

It depends, there is a time i used the speeds were 6 mb download 5mb upload! That was fast! The next time the speed was 0.37 mb download 0.2 Upload. That was even slower than kp&tc. So its not a given steady speed.
