Whats your take on spoon bending tycho ?

First tell me what the mind is.

The interface to our conscious experience

Then spoon bending is true.

I am discovering that this interface can be re programmed... currently walking the tightrope between fear of the unknown and curiosity.

Have you been here ?

smile

Can the mind be changed? No.

Consciousness can though.

hmmm.....

Isn't it the other way around?

By consciousness do you mean the 'I' or what the mind is conscious of ?

Look at the definition we're working with. If the mind is an 'interface' what can it change to?

What's the mind conscious of, if not itself?

First let's move away from the fallacy that the mind actually exists. It is just an abstract perimeter around our consciousness but not a real entity by itself.

Is there an abstract perimeter around the unconscious?

Is something abstract necessarily 'unreal' or 'inexistent'? I doubt it!

If it is unconscious, then it means it is different from the conscious. Then it has a boundary. Does it have a perimeter? Then it does not exist.

Hahaha! 'If it has a perimeter, then it doesn't exist'. Is a pseudo argument @Muriel.

No its this way, to the question if the answer was 'no' (which it was going to be) then it does not exist.

Why is it inactive. Unthinking. Unalive?

It's not 'inactive' or 'unalive'. It's more alive than ever.

I optimize my intelligence that way, and life becomes easier.

You are emotional, if ease is primary for you. Hence you are not thinking.
