That cannot happen. gava will need to protect cane farmers in the region. Remember that region has quite a number of votes I don't see UK just letting them fly away, and believe me this mumias issue is very political

IMHO. MSC could easily fall with no big impact. MSC is in western. Most of the collapsing factories are in western & Nyanza. Western leaders are NEVER united thus can't martial a collective bargaining power. Nyanza ppl always in opposition and don't address actual issues. A sitting president knows there's no guarantee of majority votes. Votes from here are negligible. Very few or no factories have collapsed in central,North Rift & other regions. In other regions leaders are united when it comes to defending their economic backbones e.g miraa, coffee. Given panpaper, miwani, chemilil, muhoroni, many coffee factories e.t.c from western &Nyanza and no significant impact was seen, any other like MSC can. People from here don't care to collective bargaining power & economy but individual selfishness.

RSI at less than 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Volume spike yesterday..Arent the sellers getting exhausted ???????????????????

When it floors, the swings will be a good traders plays..For now am just wondering why there is no rebound

A reverse replica of KORCH ? Disobeying TAs ?????

Fundamentally, a stock is not a random oscillating unit with endless ups and downs. It's a tiny unit of a business, if the business goes bankrupt the stock will go to zero. Mumias Sugar Company might declare bankruptcy and shut down at which point the stock holders will be left holding worthless stock.

Scaring but it doesn't stop optimists from buying at 1/= per share by Thursday!

I'll be buying!!! Why??? Coz I can. I'll throw in some money I'm totally willing to lose. Waiting for the bottom (Or what I will decide is the bottom).

Not encouraging anyone to do the same! There are more logical shares to buy there. On this one I'm not doing logical!!!

i f this thing makes a mistake of rebounding to sh 2 then i make a 30% return, just like that.if it goes to sh 0 then too bad.

I'm with you on this one. Live happy or at least die with a smile on my face.

I have started buying!

I made a buy order at 1.40/= and it was fulfilled even before I logged off!!!

Now I wait... Next order in a few days...

I'm up 21.4% (gross) in a week and I'm not smiling!!! Why? I have/had not finished buying!!! Hii staggered buying saa ingine haisaidii!!!

Today and tomorrow I relax. See what happens. It might go higher or back down. But there is absolutely no supply. Sellers ni kama wameisha!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

A demand of 5 million shares at 1:70/= (the highest possible price for the day (1.55 * 1.1) and ZERO supply. We can safely bet today it closes at 1.7/=.

Tomorrow 1.88/= Wednesday 2/=.... Friday 2.50/=???

Let's wait and see!

That's too optimistic!

1) It was a question.

2) I was still buying so higher prices don't work to my favour. See previous posts. I was still in the process of staging a 'friendly take over'. Laughing out loudly

The big question should not be whether sellers are finished but has mumias stock changed fundamentally?...maybe some news of hope leaked or normal stock market guess work but demand still strong to push it past 2bob

Movement of a stock is always determined by supply vs demand.

When the holders of a stock are strong,no matter the fundamentals, the stock will always advance high.

Weaklings have to be shaken out.Mumias has been trading on a RSI of less than 10 for a very long time.

Most of sellers have been shaken (Evidenced by decreased traded volumes at 1.40-1.45)

Now how high the stock moves depends on new owners who got in at 1.40-1.55 (I got in at 1.55 and 2.25)will behave and how the demand will be relative to the supply.

The shakeout, when the price broke below 2.00 means only the super strong could survive

I sold 70% of my holdings bought at 2.25 for 2.2 and 2.0
