Zambia is on fire. They share a border with Angola n their fans have crossed over to cheer. Am not betting on their winning but i won't be suprised to see them in the semis.

Lookin at Drogda, is it only me with the feeling that the African stars don't give quite give their best while playing in major African matches such as ACON..?

@Wambugu,
Not in the sense....Football is a team game.You can have as many stars as possible but as long as they do not gel,they are as good as potatoes in a bag (Chaotic aggregate)...That probably explains why Zambia,and Egypt are likely to get slots in the semis.

@intelligentsia

i concur...

Drogba was very insipid, not the EPL Drogba!

A semi i would love to see is egypt and algeria i hope it come true. Zambia attacking is good not the best defence but i think they can take nigeria. Infact bookie are puting the odds at 5.8 for zambia to smoke nigeria. Go chipolopolo!!

@Tony stark,
You finally got your wish.It's Algeria vs Egypt and Oga Mboys vs Black stars....and here i am,sticking to my earlier prediction.Egypt takes this cup for only one team can stop them.Algeria....Oga mboys were hardly impressive against Zambia....if anything,i feel they were quite lucky.I must say i was also impressed by one Zambian player.16 years old half back Emmnauel Mbola...That lad is going places.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
