Hi Guys,

Just needed a brief history of this institution (http://fib.co.ke/). I want to open a CDSC with them but I'm just not so sure. Anyone who has been their client and with info will be of great assistance.

It's just a CDSC account....they are ok.

I do not know how they handle NSE shares. However, I purchased some BOK (Rwanda) through them...I then decided to sell and their records on this share was pathetic to say the least. I do not know whether they have improved because that was late last year.

I had a bad experience with them.... dumping MUMIAS shares on me at a higher price than the limit I had specified. Complaining to their MD didn't help. A few years later when I applied to move my remaining shares to AA, they resisted for months until I wrote about their conduct here on Wazua :( Then they relented.

They are okay ..compared to others ...just be sure to apply for the online trading platform so that you don't have to rely on the broker to do your trades .
