Anyone selling anything you cant afford will be 'dealt with' for being unfair.

hmmm......

The Irony.

I would have laughed, but someone has died and all deaths are painful.

What do you mean? Laughed at what?

I may have been mistaken. It wasn't a virtual jab? Oh well ,,,

@Atalaku, I get what your point is, but I tend to think this guy is different if you look at it critically. I want to think of him as a coach. If you listen to him, he does training on "how to be the best in what you were created to be". In fact, anybody, whether a Christian or not, can listen to him and apply the principles thereof to better themselves. Motivational speakers are paid top dollar for their time. Mentorship programmes too could be very expensive. This is a bit different from Kanyari who tells you to drink salty water, or cheats you completely using chemicals that unatoka damu. In fact, studies shows that a workforce that has a serious motivational and mentorship programme performs better in the long term. That is why HR departments invests heavily in such issues. Well, I dont know whether you get my side of the coin, but although I respect your version of it, I feel these two people are different in their approach. One is an outright conman, the other works towards bringing the best out of you, and ensuring you are focusing on the important things of life. Or what do you think?

Satan can't do anything unless permitted by
God ;ref Job's scenario. God himself can kill
or allow life depending with situation;ref
sodom case. If you're too good to ppl ,you
become a righteous"god" & God being
jealous you won't live longer thus "watu
wazuri hufa mapema Kwa nini? Do not be
righteous overmuch or make yourself
overwise why should you destroy yourself .
Do not be evil overmuch nor a fool why die
before your time ." If you're evil Satan likes
how you help him and God gives you more
time to repent thus "mbona huyu mchawi
hakufi?" There is a righteous man who
perishes in his righteousness and there is a
wicked man who prolongs his life in his evil
deeds.

I have not recognized this theology. Must be a new one.

Perhaps new church?

Hmmmm.

Not theology per se but begin with Eccl 7:14-17, then the whole Ecclesiastes & other books of the bible with rules & teachings like proverbs. Good luck in finding it.

people mourn when the departed is somehow connected to them, as for Dr Munroe, he had a connection with a good number of the rich, the upper middle class and those others longing to attain the same, plus of course all those who sought spiritual nourishment from his pastoral services.

so when such an individual departs those who somehow benefited, or were looking towards benefiting from him will feel a loss, as for the kapendo scenario, it's not a westgate and so only the directly affected individuals will feel a loss.

my 2 cents, they are the same, selling a service just operating at different social levels, they both motivate their following using different strategies - one will hoodwink you with the food and aura at safari park while the other will use some cheap chemical to drive home his point.

just depends on which side you are being outwitted from and whether the dupe sticks deep enough for you to believe and thus change your self. smile

His talk on JKL and in his motivational talks could only mean he was pouring out the little that had been left of him. Indeed he has not died, as his words outlives and he will continue to whisper to our inner thoughts many years to come. He must have accomplished his purpose.

Fare thee well.

I wouldn't think of it as being outwitted, rather paying for value(same way you pay for lectures in school), though personally as much as I love his advise, I wouldn't pay that much for attendance, may be 500 bob.
