They are not going into real estate. The purpose of the industrial park is to attract big industrials to Naivasha next to Kengen's power generation stations so that these heavy consumers have easier access to power. It is an industrial park not a residential park. Most likely the cost of power for the firms at the park will be subsidized. The digital government appears to be very keen on hitting the 5,000MW mark. As Murchr's post says, close to 1,000MW is expected from Ol Karia in the next year or two, and another 1,000MW from Menengai. Prezzo is supposed to commission the 280MW this week in Olkaria. I am in this thing for the long haul.

According to the MD report in the rights issue they intend to raise about ksh.30bn in the upcoming rights issue.
Individual and other shareholders are to chip in between ksh.10-15bn while gava is expected to contribute ksh.20bn by converting part of its debt into equity.

This share is not a monkey. I believe its a good speculative buy between now and December especially since the div yield at current price is 4.1%, higher than Brit american tobacco & LimTea.

Agreed @The optimist. Either the Directors and CEO are heavily broke as individuals or its a mockery. Yani i own more than the CEO and some of the Directors combined... Am demanding a seat in that Boardroom!!!
