Whats your take on spoon bending tycho ?

First tell me what the mind is.

The interface to our conscious experience

Then spoon bending is true.

I am discovering that this interface can be re programmed... currently walking the tightrope between fear of the unknown and curiosity.

Have you been here ?

Hahaha! You've just been using the word. Could you be using it without knowing what it symbolizes?

Laugh.

No, you are the one soliciting for definitions of it, from me and Mtu Biz.

What it is. Or who it is.

I think you are now evading the question. You have quoted something up there and drawn a conclusion. I wanted to understand what you meant, so I naturally asked what you meant.

But you turned the question back to me. Why?

Because.

Yes, I evaded the question. Slick eh?

Laugh

From what I put up there, I think 'mind' is 'society', the 'us', the 'people who think of 'this' future'.

If that's what you mean by 'mind' then renegades must be part of 'us'. And your assertion is true.

What is 'renegade'?

ren·e·gade /ˈrenəˌɡād/
noun
a person who deserts and betrays an
organization, country, or set of principles.
adjective
having treacherously changed allegiance.

treach·er·ous /ˈtreCH(ə)rəs/
adjective
guilty of or involving betrayal or deception.

I also acknowledge any positive definition possible.

Can the mind be changed? No.

Consciousness can though.

Thank you.

As the naming word, how then can 'renegade' be part of 'us'? What makes you assume its 'negative'?

First, who does 'us' comprise of? Can you count 'us'? Again if mind is 'us', then does a renegade have a mind?

I 'assume' it's negative because one of my teachers said, a 'heretic' glories in his 'orthodoxy'. But a heretic who glories in heresy can't be true.

hmmm.....

Isn't it the other way around?

By consciousness do you mean the 'I' or what the mind is conscious of ?

Look at the definition we're working with. If the mind is an 'interface' what can it change to?

What's the mind conscious of, if not itself?

The conscious mind can process definitions but can't process meaning. The subconscious mind can process meaning but can't process definitions.

The conscious mind understands structure and parameters. The subconscious mind understands association.

The conscious mind 'quantifying' the subconscious mind and the subconscious mind 'qualifying' the conscious mind. The science of art and the art of science.

I think 'us' comprise singularity.

One.

That further implies count. Numeration. Multiplicity.

Hence One is multiple and so negative becomes positive.

Renegade is positive.

Beautiful!
