Even the hardcore Safaricom addicts are now starting to see the sense. Probaly it just a matter of time before Yu become a real threat to Safaricom.

Its a gentleman actually, thanks 4 asking, honestly i dont remember the shop. Its a yu customer care outlet but its in a certain supermarket. To subscribe 4 a yu internet, you have to call 100. On their line. Its cheap but it can dissapoint you big-time sometimes.

@kyt, Hey, BTW...does 'yu' have a modem? how are their charges, rates/MB, speeds,etc?

Do they have good coverage across NBI area?

i have not heard of a yu modem. only the sim card gsm connection. but word of caution only use yu to surf on the phone. its 3 bob per mb but on the PC. ITS VEEEEEEERY SLOW.

Yu is cheap, its a tariff not an offer.
SMS to 'other' networks at 3.5 bob and to Yu at 1 bob. Cant get any better.

Am now in YU and safcom - twin sim. Problem for them is, i am still to get another guy in yu except me, and getting their airtime cards can be a nytmare..

is that rate of 1 bob still in force...thought that the 6bob tariff was for across all networks including YU network.
