is in't there a constitutional provision that stops Guy Scott from running for presidency? if so - kikirudiwo he will not be on the ballot. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Few months ago when I was those side the locals told me the Scott is very close to ruling elite and behave like them

I have learnt with great sorrow of the passing away of Zambia’s President Michael Chilufya Sata.
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Kenya and on my own behalf, I wish to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late President Sata and to the people of the Republic of Zambia.
We share the pain of this loss. We mourn – with our Zambian brothers and sisters – the passing of another of Africa’s great independence-era leaders. Our prayers are with the people of Zambia at this moment of national grief.
President Sata was an exceptional leader in many ways. He was gifted with unique, admirable abilities and strong values. His perseverance and determination saw him pursue his vision for Zambia. This consistency paid off when he emerged victorious in the elections of 2011, after a long spell as an opposition leader. Indeed his rise from humble beginnings to the top office teaches us an important lesson: a worthy individual can triumph over the most daunting adversities and adversaries.
A strong advocate of multiparty democracy, President Sata propagated a great sense of national unity in an immensely diverse country. He believed in the noble principles of equity, justice and cohesion.
President Sata was an outstanding Son of Africa. In his long and exemplary life, he made valuable contributions to the welfare of the people of Zambia and our Continent. Therefore, as we pay homage to this visionary leader, let us also celebrate and honor his life and achievements.
I remember him for his sharp wit and his powerful sense of humour.
I call on all Zambians, especially the political leaders, to ensure that even at this dark hour, they act in the best interest of the people of Zambia. This country is known for decades of peace and political stability, and I look to the Zambian people maintaining this legacy.

(3) Whenever the office of President becomes vacant, the Vice-President or, in the absence of the Vice-President or if the Vice-President is unable, by reason of physical or mental infirmity, to discharge the functions of his office, a member of the Cabinet elected by the Cabinet shall perform the functions of the office of President until a person elected as President in accordance with Article 34 assumes office. By this constitution Kenneth Kaunda is not eligible to run for president because his parents were born in Nyasaland which is present day Malawi. Interesting how life turns out, Chiluba had a disastrous presidency was plagued by illness and died in disgrace while facing charges of corruption while Kaunda is still going strong and enjoying respect and honor around the world.
