The West Africans are still eating game meat, bats and primates ..this will not end soon ..a veterinary and culinary revolution is needed...but at this rate the next thing they will get from their kitchen delights... we got no idea..it will be worse

I think the 'eating game meat, bats and primates' narrative has to be put in context. This is the context
1) patient 0 MAY have eaten uncooked 'game meat, bats and primates' or may have come across feaces of 'game animals, bats and primates' sometime in Nov/Dec last year. This is where it jumped species.
2) subsequent transmission were human to human.

Ebola is in it's infancy? I don't think so! I think Ebola, HIV and other Zoonotic diseases have always been with us - the only thing is that people now travel more. ebola may be responsible for clearing and forwarding of entire villages in the equatorial forests for millenia - the reason we don't know about it is because no one survived. I suspect there are diseases lurking in the Amazon that have do the same to the inhabitants. If an entire village was swept off the face of the earth some 100-1000 years ago somewhere deep in the equitorial forest... who would have written about it? We are now seening these diseases simply because we are now travelling more and we are connected to these people. Would it suprise you if I told you that I knew that NBC cameraman? I think I met him on a certain bash and we were on the same mailing list discussing ebola. Now that you know me... you are 3 degrees of separation away from a person who actually had Ebola - that is the reality of this world that makes people think 'things are new'.

In other news... Hospital beds are empty.... in Monrovia. I first heard this story from a dude who works next to the main road in Monrovia. Ambulances in October have been far less active... in September the road was screaming with sirens. He told me that Hospital beds are empty and naturally I didn't trust him.... I just saw an article today in the new york times that points to that.

Naturally, I assume there is scientific evidence of this?

Lets use what we know for certain.

the term 'may' explains it all....

.... that it has moved from the realm of fact, certainity, science to the realm of hearsay.

Hold there !! Shame on you

1. West African people ate game meat, bats and primates for how long before?
2. Let us assume from great-great-gand-parents
3. "First generation": Ebola feared the great-great-grand-parents-children
4. "Second generation": Ebola again feared the great-grand-parents-children
5. "Third generation": Ebola again feared the grand-parents-children
6. "Fourth generation": Ebola again feared the parents-children
7. "Fifth generation": Ebola now said this is the time we were waiting for, late 19s, we can infect these guys, children

How about that for game meat eating?

again the eating game meat nexus with ebola has to be put in context
1) not all bats, primates and game meat have ebola
2) not all bats, primates and game meat that have ebola and are eaten by humans infect the human
3) not all infected humans get to be known

It's like Anthrax - just because I have been eating cows like my folks and their folks before them does not mean that if I today got anthrax from eating beef implies that it feared my folks. Context my friend... Context..... it may have killed some of my ansestors and someone burnt an old woman claiming that they bewitched my relatives. Many old women may (ingiza Muriel hapa) have been burnt for bewitching first gen e.t.c. We are living in a connected world and so we tend to think every generation before us knew where Lofa county was!

Idealy these guys have no vetinary officials who would veryify that the meat they use to make bat soup and monkey stew is not infected. So its possible that there was patient 0 who went ahead and infected others but its also possible that many others went ahead to eat infected bats and monkeys.

you can actually trace the explosion of this disease from that one child (who did not eat but may have come across a dead bat/monkey or it's droppings e.t.c. the reason I say she did not eat is because If she had eaten it's unlikely she would have eaten alone or she may have gotten it from preparation of the beasts and the whole family would have been the first to be sick but she was the only one sick first and she died and her family followed). by the way do you know that the disease exploded when a witchdoctor thumped her bony chest and claimed that she could heal people and thus people cross borders to get assistance and the old hag also caught the disease and spread it to others in her community wakikujia irizi zao - from that point forward it exploded (her being a prominent person and all her burial was 'grand'). by the way they had kicked it from Liberia only for a family from Sierra Leone to bring it back. It's all human-to-human transmission after patient 0.

There are those who dispute the child story because its said that s/he was an infant thats why she wouldnt have eaten the meat bat or monkey. So if this story is true then the adults would have been the ones who infected the child but since its immunity is weak, s/he died first.

My worry is no African doctor is out to study this and other viruses that are prevalent in this part of the world

what was her age? if she was an infant yes... if she was under 13 it could be that she picked it without eating. handling dead animals and or droppings from these infected animals would cause a cross spiecies infection.

Ebola: the Generalized Lie

Quote:
This psychosis is beginning to cause havoc in Africa, where governments are starting to close borders, mobilize armies to repress the populations, and even isolate with no reason tens of thousands of unfortunate men, women, elderly people and children placed under quarantine in a Liberian slum, without food or water.

Ebola scare fabricated by US media to make profit

Quote:
To begin, consider:

- The Center for Disease Control (CDC), the epicenter for all worldwide media information and purported credibility about Ebola, is a forprofit, publicly traded, private corporation with a very dark, sinister and criminal past.

- On April 29, 2010, the CDC acquired the patent and ownership for the Zaire Ebola Virus (ZEBOV). By doing so, it acquired rights for all pending bioengineered forms of the heinous virus, including vaccines and infection tests.

- A clinical study in 2010 has shown a very promising, effective and simple cure for Ebola to be already available worldwide; Ascorbic acid. Vitamin C.

The CDC tells you no cure currently exists for Ebola. A lie. Attention is required. The plot is deep, the crimes many. The reason, of course, money, profit, greed and power.

The culprit: the enemy of humanity. America. Its weapon, of course; fear. Our antidote; knowledge.

Kentucky Teacher Resigns Amid Parents' Ebola Fears
A teacher at a Louisville, Kentucky, Catholic school has resigned rather than take paid leave after parents raised concerns about her trip to Kenya, half a continent away from the Ebola epidemic in western Africa.
