Sauti Sol sings 'umenikalia chapati...' making me wonder whether some Elders of SK age need to be paid some royalties smile

Good song, but no sex, so could not possibly do as well as their last controversial one. Seems to have also drawn some inspiration from Eric Wainaina's Selina Nyambok. Which song speaks to your heart more?

Never saw the video before. You may be onto something seeing it's by far their most popular video from the old albums.

Thanks for posting the link. This particular album is fantastic. Has the famous song "Soma Kijana" with a Zilizopendwa beat. What a talented lot

And they have really gone close to the power. They performed at state house on his birthday.

Quote:
Thank you so much Sauti Sol for the performance on my birthday. Congratulations on winning the Best African Act and I wish you the very best in the #BestWorldwideAct. You have my support, my vote and the support of all Kenyans and the continent at large.

They deserve everything and more.
The sad thing about these group band and especially boy bands is they never last and especially after big money and awards starts coming in. So I think we can safely start the countdown for Sauti Soul.

BBI will solve it

They lost out on the nomination as apparently Africa did not rally behind them and lost to the Palestinian who had the backing of Middle Eastern votes.....aisuru
